How to make a quick sale when you need a cash infusion

Sometimes we need to make a quick sale. It might be out of necessity, or because you’re not loving where your numbers are. Either way, there ARE things you can do to improve your bottom line – quickly! .

First of all,  I’m not going to promise you that “if you do this one thing today, you’re going to get five clients tomorrow”. There are  so many nuances that come with selling.

But in my experience, the following  strategies are ones that I personally use, and that my clients use when they need to quickly bring in income. I truly believe this is your best bet. So let’s dive into the topic of how to make a quick sale:

#1: Set your baselines

If you need to make fast cash, you have to be selling, and for that we need to be aggressive. This is not the time to just be like, “I’m gonna throw up a couple posts and just see what happens”.

What I want you to start with is “how much money do I need to make?”. It’s really important to set a monetary goal for yourself. This is probably not the time to try to sell your most high level container with all the frills. We want it to be an easy “yes!” for people and we want it to feel like a no brainer for people.

I want my ideal clients to be super clear on what they are getting and the transformation they are getting from that service. So we need to get clear on the goal. We need to get clear on the offer, make sure that your money goal matches the offer and that price tag.

#2: Create content

We need to sell often. Tap into every source and audience that you have and create content that supports the offer that you’re selling whether that is through text, posts, videos, reels, or live video.  You are going to be giving them value every single day, at least Monday through Friday, and reminding them why you’re the expert, and saying “I can help you with this!”

#3: Clarity

This is a big point and a big thread that runs through this entire concept of making a quick sale. Clarity, when you’re trying to sell something quickly, is very important. When we are talking to our ideal clients, we are not leaving anything to the imagination. We don’t want them to guess what is going to happen. We are making it clear, because if it feels confusing, it’s easier for them to just leave it. You want to make sure that you’re making it as easy as possible for them to say yes.

#4: Lead List

Intentionally, we’re going to be looking at our lead list. If you don’t have a leads list, I recommend that you create one that outlines the clients that you currently have, the alumni that have left in the past and those people that have expressed interest in your offer. Keep track of them, you will be so grateful that you did.

When push comes to shove, go back to that list in a way that you feel will be best received. There’s an art to this, where that doesn’t make the person on the other end feel pressured. It comes from a genuine space for me. Understand that directly getting in front of someone person to person is always going to be your best bet for making a quick sale.
