My method for finding leads, EASILY!

You can have the most amazing offer in the world, but if you’re not consistently finding new leads, your business is going to struggle. The good news? Lead generation doesn’t have to be complicated or time-consuming. In fact, I’m going to show you how to find 10-15 quality leads in just 15 minutes using a method I’ve been using and teaching for years. No more endless scrolling or throwing spaghetti at the wall hoping something sticks!

Know Exactly Who You’re Looking For

Here’s where most people mess up – they cast way too wide a net. Saying you want to work with “small businesses” or “women entrepreneurs” isn’t specific enough to build an efficient lead generation strategy. You need to break down exactly who you’re targeting into specific titles and categories. For example, if you’re targeting business coaches, think broader: business mentors, business strategists, business consultants, brand strategists, sales coaches, and Instagram coaches. The goal is to come up with 20-30 different titles your ideal client might be using.

Set Clear Parameters

Once you’ve got your titles mapped out, it’s time to get specific about what makes someone an ideal client. Create a list of 10 “deal breakers” – these are the must-have qualities that make someone perfect for your offer. Maybe they need to be making six figures, have been in business for a few years, or have an established online presence. Then decide which parameters are absolute must-haves (star these!) and which are nice-to-haves. This makes it super easy to quickly assess whether someone belongs on your lead tracker.

Look Beyond Your Main Platform

Here’s a pro tip that most people miss: don’t limit yourself to just one platform. While Instagram might be your main hangout, its search function is pretty limited. You might only see the top 20 accounts for any search term, and chances are you’re already following half of them. Instead, use multiple platforms to find your ideal clients, then connect with them on your primary platform.

Find Their Watering Holes

Whether you’re B2B or B2C, you need to go where your ideal clients are actually hanging out. For B2C, this might mean joining Facebook groups (like “crunchy moms of Delaware” if you’re targeting health-conscious moms). For B2B, you might need to leverage LinkedIn or use direct outreach through warm emails. The key is to identify their gathering spots and then create a strategy to get noticed. Whether that’s through engaging content, direct outreach, or a combination of both.

Create a Strategic Nurture Plan

Finding leads is only half the battle. You need a solid plan to nurture these connections and keep your pipeline full. This might mean crafting relevant content that gets you noticed, setting up a clear “online storefront” that makes it easy for leads to find and follow you, or developing a follow-up email sequence. The goal is to create a consistent flow of warm leads who already know, like, and trust you before they ever become clients.
