I’m Pivoting

Here’s something I don’t say out loud very often: my business is working, my framework is solid, and I’m still changing direction. I’m pivoting, and I’m telling you now so you can see what it looks like from the inside, because there’s a good chance you’re sitting on a pivot of your own.

For about a year, I felt a shift coming. I knew something had to change, and I pushed the feeling aside because the thought of it felt overwhelming. I told myself to keep making the current thing work. If that sounds familiar, keep reading.

Outgrowing Something That Works Is Real

Nothing is broken in my business. What I teach still works, and the framework for building a simple, sustainable, scalable business is as strong as ever. My clients get results.

I’m just tired of talking about the same things. I feel fatigued around the topic, and that’s a legitimate reason to change course. You don’t need a crisis or a failing offer to justify a pivot. Outgrowing something that works is a real thing, and it deserves attention.

The Emotional Layers Nobody Talks About

When you anchor yourself to a transformation you strongly believe in, it becomes all you talk about. So when I decided to pivot, the doubts showed up fast. I worried it meant I no longer believed in what I teach, or that nobody wanted it anymore.

Neither is true. A pivot doesn’t cancel your past work or your belief in it. Getting to the point where I was ready took me working through each of those layers, and I’m glad I didn’t skip them.

The Industry Shifted and So Did Your People

The online landscape has changed a lot, and so have the needs of the people coming into my world. They still want a simple business and they still want six figures. Right now, they want something more tangible.

Many of the women I’m meeting already have a good structure. They’ve put in the time and built the foundation. What they struggle with most is the daily grind of being online and acquiring clients around the clock. Pay attention to what your audience is asking for now, because it may not match what they asked for two years ago.

A Pivot Is an Expansion, Not a Retreat

I’m moving back to my roots, which is marketing. Marketing already makes up more than half of what I teach here, and I’m leaning into it much harder. Early in my business, I taught a course called How to Find Clients, and it was very successful. I later shifted toward the full structure because people needed the whole picture. They were landing clients and burning out.

This time is different. I’m not shrinking back to where I started. I have a new vision, and it’s bigger than this one business, especially since I run multiple businesses. I see this as an expansion.

I’m also changing what I want to be known for. That isn’t because the old message was wrong. It’s because I have new plans.

Clarity Doesn’t Respond to Force

My moment of clarity came in the shower. Most entrepreneurs I know get their best ideas there, because there’s no screen, no podcast, and nobody talking. It’s just you and the water.

All the pieces clicked at once. I saw how the pivot would serve me long term and how I’d keep serving my current clients. I said “yep, it’s time” out loud. I couldn’t have forced that moment, and I couldn’t have rushed it. Give yourself quiet time away from the noise, and let the answer come.

What’s Coming Next

Here’s what I can tell you so far. It’s all marketing, all day, every day. It’s built for established business owners who have been in business for a while and still struggle to get clients in the current online climate. New business owners can benefit too.

This offer gives you daily support to do the work that moves the needle and builds your authority. This podcast will shift along with my brand, and the name will change. I may take a short break while I sort out the details. I’ll share everything at the end of the month, including how to join.

Here’s Your Permission

If you’ve been carrying a pivot in the back of your mind, consider this your permission slip. You can love what you do, love how you serve your clients, and still feel the itch to go in a different direction. Both things can be true.

Your pivot will be personal to you. You’ll know the time has come when you stop talking yourself out of it. And you don’t have to burn your business down to make the change. I’ve helped many business owners make meaningful pivots without losing their current clients, and I’m doing it myself right now. A smooth pivot is possible.

Thank you for being part of my world for the past few years. I’ve been in business for eight years, and I’m not disappearing. I’m evolving, and I hope you’ll evolve with me.

If you need support making your own pivot, book a Clarity Growth Call with me. In 60 minutes, we’ll build an action plan with clear next steps, so you can move forward with confidence and keep your current business strong while you do it.

Stay tuned for the big announcement at the end of the month. It’s coming, and I can’t wait to show you.
